Cancellation Policy

Thank you for booking with Dewin Estate Transitions. A few things to note before your walk-through. Your appointment | You've booked either a virtual walk-through (by video call) or an in-person visit to the property. There's nothing you need to prepare and no need to tidy. Changes and cancellations | If you need to change or cancel, please let us know at least 24 hours before your appointment where possible. We know these situations often shift without warning, so if something comes up at short notice, please contact us as soon as possible and we'll rearrange. Don't worry, we'll send you reminders via e-mail and SMS 24 hours before our appointment. If we can't reach you | If no one is available and we haven't heard from you, we'll try to reacgh you via the phone number you've given us and wait a short while. Cost | Both the virtual and in-person walk-through are free and come with no obligation to proceed. Privacy | Anything we see or discuss stays confidential. We understand the personal nature of this work and treat every home and family with discretion. Preparing for an in-person visit | There's nothing you need to tidy or sort before we arrive. We're used to homes in every state and there's no judgment in any of it. We do ask two things to keep the visit safe and easy for everyone. Please secure any pets before the team arrives, as unfamiliar visitors and open doors can unsettle even the calmest animals. And where you can, make sure there's clear access to the areas we'll be looking through, so the team can move safely through the home. If access is genuinely difficult, whether through the volume of belongings, stairs, or anything else, that's fine and often part of why you've called us. Just let us know beforehand so we can come prepared.
